Hello!
I'm Abigail, a nearing-20 human that gets herself into one too many craft projects at once. Because I make things, I'm also a designer, photographer and a bit of a lot of things I guess. I'll probably do just about any job even if only for the experience.
Okay, on to the getting-the-job information. I graduated from secondary school in 2011 with enough GCE 'O' Level points to get into Arts Business Management in a local polytechnic. It's the second most difficult course to get in based on points, and on par with 6 other courses (I checked). The diploma presented upon completion of this course will arrive in my mailbox around April 2015.
In NP, I was awarded the Talent in the Arts Grant (TAG) and the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Merit Award. TAG is a grant meant for training students in an art form that they show aptitude in. The Merit Award is awarded to freshmen with excellent O Level results, but is also awarded to year 2 and 3 students who are eligible and deserving. More information about the Merit Award can be found here.
Outside my academic requirements, sharingMTthinking was a project I started with two other friends. It was supported and funded by the National Arts Council (Blast Off Fund), Singapore Kindness Movement (Seed Kindness Fund), Ngee Ann Polytechnic (Ideawerkz) and CityLink Mall.
My past aside, I currently am decently skilled at Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Indesign and Illustrator. I can also whip up a mean glitter party and celebration decorations while reading Oscar Wilde and having a Kit Kat bar.
With that, I leave you to roam my online time capsule and I sincerely hope you like what you see. If anything interests you, or if you'd like to contact me, drop me a message at abbylybby(at)gmail(dot)com!
