sharingMTthinking (spoken: sharing more than thinking, smtt for short) is a student initiated community art project started by two classmates and myself. It aims at encouraging Singapore citizens to be more aware of the things that we can be grateful for and to share about these things so that we can be a more grateful community through art.
The project culminated in an art exhibition where the exhibits were made by us and out volunteers. As a community centred event, we got the community involved by inviting them to write and make with pipe cleaners things that they were grateful for and then adding them to the exhibition. We had to organise the volunteer schedules, materials and all the logistics involved in the making, transporting and setting up the exhibition.
The programme booklet is designed to be printed on a sheet of A4 paper and then folded. The booklet can be printed from here and the folding instructions can be found here. If folded correctly and held up to the light, you should be able to see an overlapping cityscape.
